It’s not a secret that safety is the most important topic in transporting liquid chemicals. But there are crucial things that tank container operators need to comply with strictly to keep it safe such as international regulations. I’d like to share two of them here that play an important role in safety: ADR and ADR.
The first one, ADR, the European Agreement Concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road, is a legal framework established by the United Nations to govern the transportation of hazardous goods on European roads. The ADR outlines specific requirements for the transport of dangerous materials, including packaging, labeling, and documentation, as well as mandatory training requirements for drivers and handlers of dangerous goods.
The other one, SQAS, The Safety and Quality Assessment System, is a system developed by the European Chemical Industry Council, that focuses on evaluating the quality, safety, and environmental and corporate social responsibility performance of logistics service providers. SQAS takes into account various factors such as equipment, facilities, training, and management systems to ensure that logistics service providers meet the highest possible standards for the safe transportation of hazardous chemicals.
As Zafer Tank Taşıma, we guarantee the safe transportation of liquid chemicals by committing to these important and internationally recognized standards and regulations. We reduce the risks of unexpected accidents, protect people and the environment, and maintain the highest standards of quality, safety, and environmental performance throughout the entire transportation process by implementing these measures, and of course, we also make our clients peace of mind.
